[LI] Head of Communications

DANA is seeking a Head of Communications to lead a high-performing communications function responsible for shaping and protecting the company’s reputation while driving brand trust and engagement. This role will lead a team across Corporate Communications, Social Communications, Partnership Communications & Community Engagement, and Internal Communications, ensuring consistent messaging, strong stakeholder relationships, and impactful storytelling aligned with business priorities.



This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, excellent judgement, and the ability to manage fast-paced, high-visibility communications across internal and external channels.



What you will do:

  • Communications Strategy & Leadership
    • Develop and execute DANA’s integrated communications strategy across corporate, social, internal, and partnership communications to enhance brand’s trust and reputation.
    • Define team structure, goals, KPIs, and operating cadence to ensure high-quality execution and measurable impact.
    • Oversee all communication activities, including corporate communications, social communications, community building, internal communications, and strategic partnership functions.
    • Act as senior communications advisor to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Corporate Communications & Reputation Management
    • Lead corporate narrative development, positioning DANA as a trusted and innovative fintech leader.
    • Ensure consistent messaging and corporate branding across all communication channels.
    • Oversee media relations strategy, including press engagement, spokesperson preparation, and press materials (press releases, Q&As, media kits).
    • Manage reputation monitoring, issue management, and crisis communications planning and execution.
    • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, key opinion leaders, shareholders, stakeholders, and partners
  • Social Communications & Digital Presence
    • Set strategy for DANA’s social media communications (corporate channel) — ensuring tone, consistency, and community engagement.
    • Oversee content planning and real-time social listening and response, including escalations and sensitive topics.
    • Partner with Marketing/Brand teams to align select messaging for corporate channel distribution and rollouts.
    • Handle conventional and social media crisis and issue management, including developing and implementing communication plans.
    • Partner with Customer Service teams to strategize, align, and execute high profile users complains/issues to minimize PR issues.
  • Partnership & Community Communications
    • Lead communications support for strategic partnerships (BicaraDANA and corporate partnerships)
    • Lead announcement strategy (story angles, press, social, exec messaging), ensuring partner alignment and brand integrity.
    • Lead strategic corporate flagship events to enhance DANA’s brand equity (e.g Sisberdaya, DANA Cup and DANA AI@Work) in the industry.
    • Lead Community Building initiatives with ecosystem partners such as users, techies and merchant communities.
  • Internal Communications
    • Build and execute internal comms strategy to strengthen employee engagement and alignment with company mission, business priorities and company culture.
    • Deliver consistent leadership communications (Town Halls, Monday Demo, internal announcements, crisis internal comms).
    • Support HR and leadership teams in building culture narratives and change communication efforts.
      Stakeholder & Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Government Relations, CEO Office, Legal, Compliance, Risk, , HR, Marketing, Product, and Business teams.
    • Ensure communications are compliant, accurate, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Team & Agency Management
    • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performance data driven team; manage external agencies (PR, social, creative, monitoring).
    • Establish standards for messaging, crisis workflows, editorial quality, and speed-to-market.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication efforts.
  • Measurement & Reporting
    • Own reporting for media impact, share of voice, sentiment, social metrics, internal comms engagement, and partnership comms outcomes.
    • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Marketing or Communications is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in the FinTech or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly experience in conventional media and social media crisis and issue management.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
