Key Responsibilities:
Lead plant automation and industrial control systems from a technical standpoint.
Develop, implement, and maintain industrial automation systems.
Coordinate automation, modernization, and obsolete system migration projects.
Execute and supervise commissioning, startup, and integration of automated production lines.
Provide advanced technical support for PLCs, industrial robotics, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Diagnose and resolve complex equipment and process-related automation failures.
Lead root cause analysis activities utilizing A3, EWO, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Implement preventive, predictive, and TPM maintenance strategies.
Drive improvements in OEE, equipment availability, and operational efficiency.
Manage CapEx projects related to automation and industrial maintenance.
Coordinate contractors, suppliers, spare parts strategies, and technical resources associated with automation projects.
Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure operational stability.
Implement traceability, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Develop internal technical capabilities through training and mentoring of technical personnel.
Identify cost reduction opportunities through automation and process optimization.
Promote and comply with all Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Required Experience:
Strong experience in industrial automation within high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience in heavy manufacturing and automated production processes.
Technical leadership experience in automation and maintenance projects.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming, robotics integration, and troubleshooting.
Experience commissioning and launching automated production lines.
Experience with predictive maintenance, TPM, and reliability engineering.
Experience coordinating contractors and cross-functional technical teams.
Technical Knowledge:
PLCs: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, and Safety PLCs.
Industrial Robotics: ABB, Kawasaki, and Motoman/Yaskawa.
Industrial Systems: HMIs, SCADA, industrial networks, machine vision systems, traceability systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Platforms & Tools: FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Wonderware, Cognex, and Keyence.
Knowledge of TPM, OEE, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Education & Language Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Language:
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Participate in internal audits, corrective action processes, and activities related to ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.
