LIFT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Lift Maintenance Specialist to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lifts/elevators and related systems. The specialist will ensure compliance with safety regulations, minimize downtime, and provide excellent service to clients and building occupants.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on lifts, elevators, and escalators to ensure reliable operation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to restore system functionality
• Respond promptly to breakdown and emergency service calls to minimize downtime
• Repair or replace defective lift components to maintain safety and performance standards
• Conduct safety inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for all lift systems
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and supervisors to facilitate maintenance activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field
• Experience in lift/elevator maintenance
• Knowledge of lift systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
• Relevant technical or safety certifications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to work shifts and attend emergency call-outs as required
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
