Lifting Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

1.Job Description

Plan, coordinate, and supervise lifting operations at construction sites in compliance with

MOM and BCA regulations.

Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and safe work procedures for lifting

activities.

Execute and oversee critical lifting operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance

with project requirements.

Conduct daily site inspections and monitor lifting activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.

Coordinate with lifting supervisors, riggers, crane operators, subcontractors, and site teams

Ensure lifting equipment, lifting gears, and related documents are properly maintained and

Monitor site progress and support project teams to ensure lifting activities are completed

Support preparation of reports, site records, presentations, and documents related to lifting

Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote safe lifting practices at all

times.

Supervise workers and lifting teams in day-to-day site activities.

(2) Job Requirements

 Must have a Lifting Engineer certificate; 5-Day Appointed Person Training Course - Lifting

Operations

 Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction site operations and lifting activities
