  • Develop and execute physical trading strategies based on market structure, arbitrage signals, and regional supply/demand fundamentals.
  • Monitor regional NGL/LPG flows, arbitrage routes, and infrastructure dynamics
  • Work closely with operations, shipping, and commercial support teams to ensure operational requirements are accurately communicated, providing clear updates on positions, strategies, and needs to all supporting teams.
  • Collaborate with analytical teams to identify trends, quantify value, and improve trading decisions.
  • Manage risk exposure through derivatives (swaps, futures, options) across multiple time horizons and ensure compliance with internal risk limits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to enhance market intelligence.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and Chevron’s Operational Excellence principles in all trading activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree Level (or equivalent) in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience in NGL, naphtha or gasoline trading, with strong knowledge of physical and paper instruments and hedging strategies.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of being strongly driven toward future success.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to accommodate the demands of a busy trading operation.
  • Periodic travel may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of refining economics, blending, and arbitrage flows (East of Suez and globally)
  • Solid understanding of NGL value chain (production → fractionation → transport → markets)
  • 3+ years of trading experience in Refined Products.
