We are looking for a professional line cook
This position will be responsible for the food preparation of a new menu and the setup of line
stations supporting the dining room kitchen operation.
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow chef’s instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersRequirements
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry’s best practicesAbility to work morning and evening shiftsLine cooking experienceLanguage: FrenchNote: Only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be considered.
