          The Local Government\nRelations Manager supports Ziply Fiber\u2019s network expansion by building strong\nrelationships with local governments, public works departments, utilities, and\ncommunity leaders. This role serves as a key liaison across multiple jurisdictions,\nhelping navigate permitting, right<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span><\/span><\/span>of<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span><\/span><\/span>way, construction\ncoordination, and community issues. It also provides critical local insight to\ninternal teams to support timely project execution and maintain positive\ncommunity partnerships. The position plays a central role in strengthening\nZiply Fiber\u2019s presence and reputation as a collaborative and community<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u2011<\/span><\/span><\/span>focused infrastructure\npartner.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Leadership and Issue Resolution<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
          <\/p>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Continuous engagement with and understanding the\nobjectives of local leadership (FDC, Field Ops, Marketing) ensuring issues are\nattended to timely and professionally. Support local leadership in the\nresolution of right\-of\-way, permitting, pole attachment/joint use and similar\nissues with states, counties, and cities and third parties.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/p>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with the local leadership team (FDC, Field\nOps, Marketing) on known issues providing support to resolve issues timely.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensures teams are aware of current field issues,\ninquirers and work together towards a satisfactory resolution.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Community and Government Relations<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Cultivating and maintaining strategic\nrelationships with key community, public and government officials.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Meeting regularly with mayors, city council\nmembers, county commissioners, administrators, and staff of key cities and\ncounties to articulate the Company\u2019s vision and plans and to obtain support for\nZiply Fiber\u2019s initiatives.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Act as principal contact for Ziply Fiber\u2019s\nNetwork Operations team on local government issues and resolution of\nconstituent inquiries.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Establishing and maintaining relationships with\nlocal chambers of commerce, economic development councils, and local community\ngroups.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Works with residents and businesses to resolve\nissues related to all construction efforts and to create a win\-win solution for\nthe resident, business, and the company.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          Construction and Build Area Support<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>

          · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Work with city/county and community for active\nbuild areas ensuring we are attending to all issues as they arise.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            Required Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>

            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years\u2019\nexperience working in a customer support centric environment.<\/span><\/span>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Demonstrated experience working directly with\nlocal governments, public works departments, utilities, and/or agencies\ninvolved in right\-of\-way, permitting, construction oversight, or municipal\ncoordination.<\/span><\/span>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience navigating governmental processes,\nmunicipal codes, public works standards, and utility coordination requirements\nacross multiple jurisdictions.<\/span><\/span>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Public policy/compliance implementation\nexperience.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/p>

            Preferred Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred. Relevant training\nor experience may be considered in lieu of degree.<\/span><\/span>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience in the telecom industry.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience collaborating with state, county, and\nmunicipal officials on infrastructure projects, right\-of\-way management, or\npublic utilities coordination.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge and understanding of operations teams,\noutside plant teams is preferred.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Knowledge of, and experience working on,\nfederal, state, local, broadband, and telecommunications issues.<\/span><\/span>
            <\/p>
