Local IT Engineer

Responsibilities and Job Description

The IT responsible controls, coordinates and supports IT activities of a location. Provides IT services based on Corporate guidelines and in accordance with the Continental IT management.

She/he is responsible for planning and operating all IT applications of the locations in correspondence with the Division’s IT strategy.

  • Support local/regional in digitalization projects and industry 4.0 projects.
  • Support the implemention of production management systems and be able to apply new technologies to meet the needs of smart factory.
  • Use digital tools to solve problems or provide related support.
  • Manage local IT Projects
  • Support and implement global projects in Local Locations.
  • Develop and optimize IT processes to compliant with cyber security.
  • Hands on experience in Windows and MacOS, including VM platform.
  • Experience in PowerBI,
  • Basic Knowledge in Mendix, RPA & Local Code Application
  • IT Training to Local Users
  • Support user departments in dealing with applications and systems
  • Actions to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards
  • Co-Ordinating with IT Service Desk.
  • Desktop Management, Mail Service Management, Server Management, Local Area Network
  • Engineering: Interface to Non-Continental-Server and –Client’s service provider
  • Control external provider in terms of contractually agreed-upon service level / performance standards
  • Advices on questions touching on data protection, Cybersecurity and data security.
  • Co-Ordinating with Central IT Team for IT Services.
  • MS 365 Tool Knowldge (Outlook, OneNote, MS Team, OneDrive etc.)

Qualification Requirement

  • Good communication in English & Hindi
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology with Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Familiar with IOT, RFID Technology, etc
  • Familiar with SAP, Medix, RPA
  • Knowledge in PowerBI
  • Strong Sense of Teamwork & Problem Solving
  • Knowledge about IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and processes
  • Desktop Management (OS, Software, Remote Control, Asset management, Service Desk setup).
  • Windows Server Management (DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Proxy, Radius, Active Directory, Group Policy, Print, Backup etc.)
  • Windows Client OS & Microsoft office and Client applications
  • Desktop Management (OS, Software, Remote Control, Asset management)
  • Local Area Network basic knowledge and hands on support (WAN, SD WAN, Firewall, Topology, Cabling, Fibre etc.)
  • Knowledge about IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and processes
  • Experience in implementing IT Projects
  • Well-developed communicative skills, ability to work in Team
  • IT Hardware Toubleshooting (HP, Dell etc.)
