Locum Dentist

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning across general and emergency dentistry
• Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions, and urgent care, with scope aligned to your clinical experience
• Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases as required
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, oral health therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations
• Adapt to different practice environments and systems to ensure continuity of care

Dates and days:

• 12, 13 & 21 August
• 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, & 18 September
• 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 & 29 October
• 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 18, 19 & 20 November
• 3, 4, 18 & 22 December

What’s on Offer

• $800 base retainer per working day or 40% commission, whichever is greater
• Established patient base with consistent workflow
• Supportive and experienced clinical and administrative team
• Local opportunity (no travel or accommodation provided)

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years’ experience practising in Australia
• Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
