Logistics & Customs Clearance Officer

Key Responsibilities
• Handle urgent air and land shipments of aircraft parts and equipment
• Ensure fast clearance and delivery of time-sensitive cargo
• Manage customs, airport, and regulatory compliance processes
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, courier companies, and clearing agents
• Track shipments and resolve logistics delays under pressure
• Ensure proper documentation for regulated and hazardous goods
• Maintain efficient logistics flow for operational aircraft support

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Aero Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years experience in aviation logistics, procurement, or maintenance planning
• Experience with DHL, FedEx, UPS, cargo firms, or airport operations preferred
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian customs and airport cargo procedures
• Experience handling urgent or aircraft-related shipments
• Good network with clearing agents and logistics providers
• Fast decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Must be organized, compliant, and detail-oriented
