Logistics Manager
WHAT YOUOrder Management
- Manage the full sales order lifecycle (order intake, validation, processing, and fulfillment)
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP systems
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams
Overseas Procurement & Supply Coordination
- Place purchase orders with overseas group factories based on demand forecasts
- Monitor production progress, shipment schedules, and international logistics
- Manage import processes and mitigate supply risks
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop rolling forecasts based on historical data, sales pipeline, and market insights
- Continuously improve forecast accuracy
- Align closely with Sales to ensure realistic demand planning
Inventory & In-transit Management
- Define and optimize inventory strategies (safety stock, turnover, product mix)
- Monitor inventory levels and in-transit shipments
- Balance availability and efficiency to avoid both stockouts and overstock
Order Fulfillment & Delivery
- Manage order commitments and delivery performance
- Improve On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Proactively handle delays and supply risks
Communication & Sales Enablement (Critical Role)
- Act as the key interface between Sales and Supply Chain
- Provide monthly reports to Sales, including: Inventory status, In-transit shipments, Available-to-Promise (ATP), Shortage and risk reports
- Translate complex supply chain data into actionable sales insights
- Proactively communicate risks and mitigation plans
Data Analysis & Process Improvement
- Track key KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turnover, OTD)
- Identify root causes of supply issues and drive improvements
- Standardize processes and enhance system efficiency
Monthly Deliverables
- Inventory report (by product / region)
- In-transit shipment report
- Shortage & risk report
- Recommended product focus list for Sales’LL BE DOING
