Logistics Planner

Coordinates documents and gathers and inputs data related to assigned administrative support duties for a team, department, function or other organizational leader/group. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Work closely with Planner (Buyer) and Sales to meet customer's request delivery.
  • Understand and carry out business processes such as import and customs clearance.
  • Have knowledge of SCM and perform efficient product management through ERP system.
  • Consistently applies logistics policies, procedures and processes.
  • Inventory Control and Management - Understand inventory control and management principles and how they impact the local supply chain.
  • Analyze logistics costs and carry out activities to improve logistics systems and flows.
  • Domestic and International Transportation - has an awareness that there are regulations, processes, required documents, and options with transporting materials domestically and internationally.
  • Warehouse operations - basic understanding of warehouse operations
  • Prepares documentation for payment of vendors, suppliers and other third parties as applicable; submits documentation and enters request for payments into accounting system; responds to inquiries from accounts payable and payees.
  • Participates as a team member on departmental related business improvement assignments and projects as needed.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • + 1-2 years of working experience in relevant positions (Import, Logistics) is a must.
  • 4-year college degree in applicable field
  • Intermediate English skill in Speaking and Writing
  • Korean native
  • Supply chain knowledge.
  • Inventory control and management.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS office applications such as Excel
  • Logistics and purchasing ethics.
