Logistics Sales Support Representative

This position is based on-site in North Canton, OH, within an office environment that includes a cafeteria, coffee café, and gym.

Position Summary

The function of the Inside Sales and Support Rep is to provide direct support to the Sales Organization in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the Company can meet its growth targets.

Essential Functions

  • Source new logistics sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects (CRM)
  • Coordinate and compile proposals, RFQ responses, and presentations under general direction of Sales Executives
  • Download bid, upload response and maintain point of contact with customer for electronic bid events
  • Data maintenance within CRM application in support of sales activities as necessary
  • Lead generation, prospecting, and turnover
  • Incoming lead processing and turnover (web form submissions and asset referrals)
  • Sales phone line management
  • Intra-department information relay as required - billing issues, carrier management, claims
