Logistics Specialist


The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting logistics issue management related to finished goods imports and distribution within the Türkiye region. The role ensures the timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of products by working closely with internal teams, logistics providers, customs brokers, vendors, and other external partners.


This position plays a key role in maintaining an efficient supply chain, supporting uninterrupted product availability, and enabling business growth across Türkiye. The Logistics Specialist acts as a primary point of contact for logistics-related matters, resolves operational issues, supports local warehousing and distribution activities, and contributes to logistics reporting, analytics, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage and support finished goods import and distribution activities within Türkiye.
  • Support external and internal logistics partners and resolve shipping, fulfillment, customs, and carrier-related issues.
  • Coordinate logistics activities related to local warehousing, inventory management, and distribution of fulfillment, marketing, and commercial materials to customers across Türkiye.
  • Proactively communicate shipment issues to relevant owners and intended recipients.
  • Respond to assigned fulfillment-related emails and ensure timely resolution of operational problems.
  • Take emergency measures in case of carrier issues or urgent doctor material needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams on logistics-related matters.
  • Provide timely support, guidance, and resolution of logistics operational issues.
  • Own and manage SLAs for the Salesforce Logistics ticketing queue.
  • Represent Logistics during audits and inter-departmental projects.
  • Prepare and distribute logistics reports.
  • Use analytical tools such as Power BI, Intelligent Logistics, and other platforms to analyze logistics data, interpret results, and present insights.
  • Develop business cases based on logistics data analysis and operational findings.
  • Identify market trends and assess their potential impact on Align’s Supply Chain.
  • Support the business in proactively adapting to changes in the supply chain environment.
  • Manage vendors, including vendor performance monitoring and issue management.
  • Ensure logistics activities are carried out in a compliant, cost-effective, and customer-focused manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience in Logistics, or in a Supply Chain-related role.
  • Business English proficiency at B2 level or above.
  • Good communication and administrative skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with a structured, organized, and focused approach to work.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to provide effective operational support.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with a strong sense of commitment and ownership.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret logistics data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel and analytics capabilities would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, would be an advantage.
  • Experience using logistics analytics or reporting tools such as Power BI would be beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Türkiye when required.
  • For male candidates, military service must be completed or the candidate must be exempt from military service.
