LORRY ATTENDANT

To support drivers in the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of goods by assisting with loading/unloading, cargo handling, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Cargo Handling & Delivery Support

  • Assist in loading and unloading goods from the lorry.

  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.

  • Accompany the driver to delivery locations and provide support in handling goods.

• Customer & Site Coordination

  • Liaise with customers or site personnel during deliveries.

  • Ensure delivery documents are signed and returned accurately.

  • Follow instructions from the office regarding delivery procedures.

• Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to workplace safety standards and traffic regulations.

  • Use proper lifting techniques and equipment when handling heavy items.

  • Report any incidents, damages, or irregularities promptly to the office.

• General Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of the lorry and cargo area.

  • Assist the driver with navigation or directions when required.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary education; prior logistics or delivery experience preferred.

• Physically fit and able to handle manual cargo work.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

• Team player with a responsible and cooperative attitude.

Salary & Benefits (Singapore context)

• Salary Range: SGD 1,800 – 2,200 monthly
