Lounge Assistant

Working Hours - 5am to 2:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct a morning inspection of the Executive Lounge breakfast service to ensure all LQA and brand standards are met.
  • Ensure all food items are properly presented, replenished, and displayed according to brand standards.
  • Check that all food labels are accurate, clean, and in place. Prepare and replace food tags whenever required.
  • Verify that all tables are clean, fully set up, and arranged according to the required standards before service begins.
  • Ensure all buffet equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and serving utensils are clean, polished, and properly positioned.
  • Monitor the breakfast area throughout service to maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation in accordance with LQA and brand standards.
  • Liaise with the Kitchen team to ensure food is replenished promptly and any quality or presentation issues are addressed immediately.
  • Welcome and escort guests to their tables with a warm and personalized greeting.
  • Offer freshly brewed coffee or tea upon seating in accordance with LQA service standards.
  • Proactively engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide prompt, courteous, and personalized service throughout breakfast.
  • Ensure the lounge ambiance, including lighting, music, cleanliness, and temperature, is maintained in line with brand standards.
  • Promptly report and follow up on any maintenance, cleanliness, or operational issues to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist with the closing of the Executive Lounge by ensuring all areas are cleaned, reset, and prepared for the next service.
  • Ensure all lounge equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and pantry items are cleaned, stored, and replenished after service.
  • Complete all opening and closing checklists accurately and report any maintenance or operational issues to the Supervisor.
  • Assist the Front Office team with the preparation and delivery of VIP, special occasion, and welcome amenities in the afternoon, ensuring timely and accurate delivery in accordance with LQA and brand standards.
  • Support the Front Office and other departments whenever required to ensure smooth daily operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Duty Manager in support of the department's operational needs.
