About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual that would be interested in working in the low voltage industry to join our team at LEC. You will Assist lead technicians in pulling cable, installing pathway, and terminating low voltage cabling systems. You will be in a high-paced environment working on various construction sites.
This will be an on-site position Monday – Friday 6:00AM to 2:30PM full time position

Our projects consist of the maintenance and construction of healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, institutional and industrial facilities. Established in 1975, Laketown Electric has been doing business for over 50 years. Thanks to our best backlog ever, we have consistent work well through 2027 and beyond.



Key responsibilities:
• Install, terminate, test Cat6/6a, and fiber optics.
• Work under a lead technician to install lighting control, pull structured cabling and fiber optic
• Assist Lead technician with testing and troubleshooting structure cabling systems
• Walkthrough sites with Lead technician and understand the layout


What you’ll bring:

• HS diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• Eagerness to learn and work
• Easy to train mindset


Expectations:
• Installation neatly and efficiently
• Interface with Clients, GCs, and project IT coordination
• 100% self-motivated
• Read through on each site to adhere to contract documents while keeping install’s up to code
• Assume authority and responsibility for apprentices working under you
• Keep up with project schedules and timelines



Pay: $19-36/hr
