LPN Clinical Instructor - Sackville Hospital

Oulton College is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing Faculty as Clinical Instructors for the LPN program.<\/span> As a Clinical Instructor, you\u2019ll play a vital role in shaping future nurses, ensuring they graduate with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in diverse healthcare settings.

What You\u2019ll Do:
<\/p>

  • Supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical placements in the Sackville Hospital
    <\/li><\/ul><\/span>
    • Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster skill development in real\-world environments
      <\/li>
    • Support the integration of classroom learning with clinical practice
      <\/li>
    • Promote professional attitudes and practices that reflect excellence in patient care
      <\/li><\/ul><\/span>

      Requirements<\/h3>
      • Minimum of a Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
        <\/li>
      • Current registration and good standing with the ANBLPN (Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses)
        <\/li>
      • Minimum of five years of recent and relevant experience as an LPN.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Experience in high acuity setting.
        <\/li>
      • Previous experience teaching at an educational institute is an asset.
        <\/li>
      • Ability to apply the theory, practices, and principles of adult education.
        <\/li><\/ul><\/span>
