[LTA-PT] DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, STRATEGY & PROJECTS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the Point-to-Point (P2P) Transport division overseeing the street-hail and ride-hail industry. The P2P sector complements our Public Transport by providing a safe and reliable P2P service, supporting our car-lite vision through reducing the need for car ownership.

You will engage with local stakeholders, other Government agencies and regulators to share best practices and build professional networks.

This role requires both policy development expertise and operational awareness. You will draft policy and position papers whilst maintaining ground situational awareness and supporting relationships with key stakeholders across the transport ecosystem.

The job scope will be as follows:

  • Conduct comprehensive industry scans on local and international P2P transport developments to identify emerging trends and best practices.

  • Prepare analytical reports and presentations that inform policy decisions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, government agencies and international regulators.

  • Develop policy recommendations based on market trends and regulatory requirements.

  • Knowledge in any discipline.

  • We welcome fresh graduates and/or candidates with at least 2 years of experience in policy and/or regulatory work for this role.

  • Proven analytical capabilities to synthesise information, build compelling narratives and translate concepts into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong ability to thrive in fluid, fast-paced environments.

  • Strong advocacy and influencing abilities with capacity to develop positive relationships across all organisational levels and functions with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent English proficiency with strong critical thinking, writing and presentation capabilities.
