The Lubes Audit Officer is responsible for\nensuring timely and accurate fund confirmation, stock monitoring, product\nverification, and proper documentation of all lube\-related activities. The role\nsupports operational efficiency by coordinating with Finance, Sales, and\nOperations to maintain accuracy, compliance, and seamless depot processes at the Lubricants maufacturing plant.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Financial Operations<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

  • Confirm funds received from the Finance Department\nin real\-time to support loading and product dispatch.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Review of loading tickets and customers\u2019 balances<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Review and validate refund requests from the Sales\nDepartment to ensure correctness and compliance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Pre and Post payments review and verification of\nexpense requests.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Carry out end\-of\-month cash count in line with\naudit and internal control procedures.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Stock &\nInventory Management<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Monitor raw material and finished goods stock\nlevels daily and report variances promptly.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Review, validate and monitor store request and raw\nmaterial consumption.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Production batch review and monitoring (base oil\nand addictive ratio and batch traceability control).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Conduct physical verification of purchased materials/items\nto confirm quantity, quality, and compliance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Review and document cargo received from suppliers,\nensuring consistency with expected volumes.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Security truck\-in and truck\-out review.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Perform end\-of\-month product and tank dipping to\nreconcile physical stock with system records.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Equipment\nMaintenance & Technical Support.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Monitoring of AGO receipt and consumption at the\nfactory.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Respond to factory\-related issues and escalate them\nas necessary.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Verify and monitor maintenance activities within\nthe factory to ensure value for money.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Liaise with the Maintenance Department on\ntechnical/maintenance issues relating to the factory machines.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

        Reporting\n& Documentation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p>

        • Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing key\noperational activities at the factory.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Provide timely reports and updates to the Line\nManager and relevant departments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Compliance <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>

          • Ensure compliance with internal control processes,\nSOPs, and audit standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

          • Perform any other duties assigned by the Line\nManager to support smooth depot operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            Requirements<\/h3>

            QUALIFICATION\nAND SKILL REQUIREMENTS <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p>

            • Bachelor's\ndegree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Professional\nqualification such as ACCA/ICAN or equivalent\- completed or in progress<\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • 1\-3<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> years of experience in audit roles within the oil and gas, retail\nmanufacturing, or FMCG sectors.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Strong\nunderstanding of inventory management skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Analytical\nmindset with the ability to detect anomalies. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Proficiency\nin ERP systems and Excel<\/span><\/span><\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • High\nattention to detail and strong reconciliation skills<\/span><\/span><\/span>

            • Ability\nto work in a fast\-paced, operational environment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
