As a Sales Porter, you play a vital role in the sales department, ensuring that vehicles are presented in pristine condition and the dealership operates smoothly. You will assist in moving vehicles, maintaining the showroom and lot, and providing exceptional customer service. Demonstrating friendliness, attention to detail, and safe driving techniques are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Presentation: Ensure all vehicles on the lot and in the showroom are clean, presentable, and in excellent condition. Plate frame and inserts added. Window stickers attached to vehicles. Key control is paramount.
Vehicle Movement: Safely move vehicles to their designated locations, including the lot, showroom, service area, or customer pick-up zone. Record the location of each vehicle and ensure keys are stored properly (never in your pockets).
Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers upon arrival, directing them to the appropriate salesperson or department.
Lot Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, including picking up trash and debris.
Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for test drives and customer deliveries, ensuring they are clean and fueled.
Showroom Maintenance: Clean showroom vehicles twice daily, plate frame and inserts added. Window stickers attached to vehicles.
Vehicle Inspection: Perform visual inspections of vehicles for any damage and report any issues to the sales manager.
Documentation: Assist with the preparation and organization of vehicle documentation, including sales contracts and registration paperwork.
Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership.
