As a M&E Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors on shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements.

  • Assist the M&E Engineer in planning and coordinating M&E works to ensure smooth integration with architectural and structural trades.

  • Review M&E drawings to identify clashes, discrepancies, and constructability issues before site execution.

  • Liaise with subcontractors on material submissions, delivery schedules, and installation planning to meet project timelines.

  • Attend coordination, technical, and site meetings to follow up on M&E progress and outstanding issues.

  • Monitor site progress and provide technical support to supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.

  • Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities, including preparation of schedules, plans, and documentation tracking.

  • Maintain project documentation such as RFIs, drawings, approvals, inspection records, and as-built submissions.

  • Follow up on authority submissions (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA) and ensure documents are prepared on time.

  • Resolve coordination issues by proposing practical technical solutions and communicating updates to relevant parties.

  • Support QA/QC inspections, material checks, and rectification works to ensure compliance with project standards.

  • Ensure subcontractors comply with workplace safety requirements, including RA, SWP, and permit-to-work procedures.

  • Provide guidance to M&E Supervisors on technical matters, inspections, coordination, and documentation works.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma in Engineering or equivalent field.
