M&E Resident Technical Officer

Job Description:

  • Monitor contractors' daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site

  • Carry out administrative works and other duties as required by QP/Employer

  • Review and check all the M&E drawings, specifications, and to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans/drawings.

  • Must familiar with Singapore code of practice (COP), regulations and statutory requirements.

  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/irregularities to QP/Consultants/Employer.

  • Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.

  • Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified.

  • To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements

Job Requirement:

  • Possess M&E RTO certificate accredited by IES / ACE

  • 5 days work

  • OT provided beyond working hours

What we're looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a M&E RTO

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle complex on-site situations

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts

  • Proficient in project management, quality control, and health and safety procedures

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholder

  • A relevant engineering-related degree / diploma / NCSS in mechanical or electrical engineering
