Role Overview
The Magento 2 developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving e-commerce, B2C and B2B products. The role of a Magento 2 developer includes meeting with the design team, developing Magento 2 modules, coding the templates, troubleshooting interface issues, testing application’s performance, improving existing functionality and updating security patches.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, configure and code for various Magento 2 templates
• Communicate with the supervisor to understand the application requirements
• Design and develop user-friendly theme and interface, including optimised check-out page that increases user clicks and customer conversions
• Develop and test Magento 2 modules
• Review and troubleshoot any integration issues
• Optimise application’s performance
• Install and update security patches
• Integrate third-party APIs
• Optimise the application’s loading time to improve user experience
• Install, configure and test plugins
• Liaise within the department to develop application features
• Customise application’s extensions and test its functionality
• Conduct timely audits to rectify log errors and application issues
• Create documentation for developed modules
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent degree in the relevant field
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Magento 2 developer
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
• Understanding of modern UI/UX trends

• English level: Intermediate or higher
