EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have high school diploma or GED. Position requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair. Must also be dependable, self-motivated and work well with others.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform activities associated with maintaining the equipment and plant to ensure that its operation meets the needs of the manufacturing processes. Additional roles and responsibilities are established in the responsibility sections of the EMS Documentation

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Trouble shoot and repair problems with plant machinery.

Must have the ability to program PLC, HMI, VFD, ASI and Robots.

Must have the ability to work with electrical 480v 3 phase, single phase 120v, 24VDC, basic wiring of presses, welders, lights, and low voltage control circuits.

Must have mechanical abilities and be able to fabricate parts for machinery as needed.

Must have the ability to hook up of plumbing, black pipe forwater, drain, and air systems, for presses and welders and building including sweating of copper lines and running pex for welding gas.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and assist in all phases of maintenance on a continuous learning basis..

Must complete and maintain Division Forklift training course requirements.

Must complete and maintain division Crane Operators training course requirements.

Operate machinery, tools, gages, forklift equipment, booms.

Any duty requested by your supervisor.

AUTHORITY:

Have the authority to stop production and report quality problems as necessary. Report unsafe work situations to supervisor. Authority to represent the needs of the customer in internal functions in addressing IATF16949 requirements (e.g. selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives, training, corrective & preventive actions, product design and development).

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Position ensures existing and new plant/building machinery run smoothly and efficiently.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Position communicates with Maintenance and Production Management and also plant/office personnel.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Forty hours a week, overtime will be expected as required.
