Maintenance Engineer (Electronics, IT, Network))

Responsible for the maintenance of electronics IT security systems onboard surface vessels and shore facilities including firewalls, servers, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, VMware, SIEM, and PAM.

Will work closely with other Engineers, Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers to deliver quality maintenance services.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure infrastructure health, and manage patching processes for systems, applications, and network devices.

• Work with the Superintendent to upkeep the systems onboard the naval platforms at a highest state of availability and readiness.
• Perform maintenance tasks onboard vessels, workshop and shipyards
• Perform defect troubleshooting on systems
• Perform installation/removal work for equipment/systems
• Perform refurbishment of electronics unit/assemblies
