Maintenance Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY
- The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, equipment, and tools used in the production assembly lines. his role plays a key part in sustaining production quality, improving processes, and ensuring the long-term reliability of equipment and machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment, and tools used in production.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, thermal, and instrumentation issues in HVAC production lines and related equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all HVAC production machinery, tools, and facility equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repair logs, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data; prepare detailed reports for management as required.Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring timely ordering to prevent production delays.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify maintenance needs, address technical issues, and support equipment upgrades or improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior maintenance staff on proper use of tools, machinery, and safety protocols to foster skills development.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies; participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum number of 4-8 years of experience in facilities field.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities Engineering.
- Previous experience in facilities management or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and building codes applicable to manufacturing facilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory agencies.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
