Maintenance Level 2
Overview
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous operation of facility systems and critical production equipment. This role performs preventative and corrective maintenance on essential manufacturing assets, including the Phosphoric Acid Anodizing (PAA) Line, Chemical Milling (Chem Mill) Line, Autoclaves, Stretch Presses, and supporting facility equipment. The successful candidate will work to maximize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and maintain a safe, clean, and productive manufacturing environment.

Core Equipment Supported
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the facility's primary production assets, including:
- Phosphoric Acid Anodizing (PAA) Line
- Chemical Milling (Chem Mill) Line
- Large Industrial Autoclaves
- Stretch Press Machines
- Facility Mechanical Systems
- HVAC Equipment
- Compressed Air Systems
- Pumps, Motors, and Conveyance Equipment
- Additional support equipment as required
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace, chemical processing, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance documentation.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment drawings.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Preventative maintenance and equipment reliability knowledge.
- Working knowledge of industrial machinery and facility systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, motors, controls, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking of production floor, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to respond to off-hours emergencies
