What We’re Looking For:
A dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Team Member who will help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, address guest requests, and assist with preventive maintenance programs to keep systems running safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do:
Perform general repairs and maintenance across the hotel, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests in guest rooms, meeting spaces, public areas, and back of house locations.
Assist senior engineers with complex maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
Execute work orders dispatched via HotSOS or other systems, ensuring timely completion.
Replace light bulbs and maintain proper lighting throughout the property.
Maintain and stock supplies and tools in storerooms and on floors to support daily operations.
Communicate status updates on maintenance requests to supervisors for efficient coordination.
Monitor building systems to ensure safe, economical, and efficient operation.
Assist guests with maintenance-related requests, ensuring satisfaction through follow-up.
Support preventive maintenance programs and contribute to sustainability initiatives by monitoring energy use.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and comply with all safety regulations and hotel policies.
Respond to emergencies promptly and in accordance with established procedures.
Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Prior working knowledge of general maintenance. Attendance at a minimum of 5 classes not limited to but may include HVAC, Electrical, Indoor Air Quality, Controls, preferred.
Courses in engineering/maintenance, preferred.
Must have English skills (read, write and speak).
Familiarity with basic tools and equipment, electrical, and A/C pumps required.
Must be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills.
This position requires bending, lifting, and stooping.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, work on ladders, and lift/pull/push 50 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift.
