Maintenance Manager

Job Description:

1. Maintenance Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure high equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations across all production units

2. Asset & Reliability Management

  • Ensure proper lifecycle management of plant equipment and facilities
  • Drive reliability improvement initiatives (e.g., RCA, MTBF optimization)
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions

3. Budget & Cost Control

  • Manage annual maintenance budget effectively
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Control maintenance-related expenditures, including spare parts and contractor costs

4. Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the maintenance team, including engineers and technicians
  • Establish clear roles, KPIs, and performance management processes
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards
  • Support plant safety initiatives, audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Enforce permit-to-work (PTW) and safe work procedures

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Drive plant reliability and maintenance excellence programs
  • Support production optimization and process improvement initiatives
  • Implement best practices and standardization across maintenance activities

7. Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and EHS teams
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors
  • Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance events
