Maintenance Person
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
- Complete all emergency repairs in properties as assigned by the Projects & Facilities Manager or Property Administrator
- Perform preventative maintenance in properties as assigned by the Projects & Facilities Manager or Property Administrator.
- Perform minor electrical installations and repairs. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of electrical installations and be able to work in a safe manner. Possession of wireman licence “A” would be considered an asset.
- Perform minor plumbing installations and repairs.
- Carry out general maintenance to building fabric.
- Carry out small gypsum works, plastering and painting.
- Conduct fixture and furniture assembly, installations and minor carpentry work.
- Moving furniture and equipment, whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Be able to purchase the required materials to tackle the assigned jobs.
- Candidate must have a clean and valid driving licence.
- Candidate must be available after normal working hours to work on an on-call schedule.
- Candidate must be able to work on own initiative and possess good troubleshooting capabilities.
Key performance indicators:
- The main KPIs are derived from the CMMS system Upkeep and mainly centred on issue response and resolution time.
