Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Maintenance team supporting efforts to ensure maximum operational potential is achieved for plant operations. This position involves monitoring the operations of all machinery and equipment within the facility, including refrigeration operations, boilers, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and is ideal for someone who is analytical, organized, and adaptable.
  1. Support Staff and Safety Management:
    • Assist in the direction of maintenance staff.
    • Assist in administering process safety management and risk management plan.
    • Assist in administering and directing maintenance department safety plans and procedures.
    • Develop open communication with machine operators, department supervisors, and managers.
    • Manage all building and property maintenance including main and cross dock locations (Completed by self, maintenance staff, or vendor).
    • Assist in overseeing new installation projects.
  2. Regulatory Compliance and Vendor Management:
    • Interact with regulatory agencies as necessary EPA, OSHA, DEQ, City, and State inspectors.
    • Develop working relationships with outside vendors.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
Education and Experience
  • Required
    • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
    • Minimum 5 years’ related experience and/or training
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Preferred
    • EPA Universal Certification.
    • Industrial Refrigeration Certification.
    • Forklift Certification.
    • Background in electrical (single phase & 3 phase), refrigeration, welding, and fabrication
    • Experience operating and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and facility electrical systems
    • Experience using common welding processes and fabrication with an emphasis in stainless and aluminum.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
