This person will join a skilled team of professionals in servicing our equipment and facility. We are specifically looking for someone with a commercial electrical experience Responsibilities Position Functions: This position requires a basic/general understanding of all technical areas, an intermediate/overall understanding in at least three (3) technical areas (specified below), and an advanced/expert understanding in at least one primary technical area; or advanced/expert understanding in one secondary technical area and an intermediate/overall understanding in 5 technical areas. This includes general troubleshooting, as well as routine repairs. This position is responsible for providing additional support to the maintenance department in more complex functions. This position also requires the ability to read, understand and complete plan modifications and schematics. Technical Areas: Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, Carpentry, Welding, Plumbing, Fabrication and HVAC. *Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment. *Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisor or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. *Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. *Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. *Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. *Diagnose and replace malfunctioning electrical components such as transformers, motors, lighting, fixtures, relays, switches, and position sensing devices. *Review trade and safety information as directed by supervisor. *Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. *Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment. Fabricate and repair counters, benches, and partitions and other wooden structures. *Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. *Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. *Properly follows company policies and OSHA safety procedures. Follows daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience Required: Certificate from college or technical school; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Training/knowledge in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, fabrication, carpentry, and controls trades. At Foot Locker, we value innovation, authenticity, and integrity in all that we do.
