Mission:

  • The mission of a Maintenance Technician is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all equipment through proactive maintenance, continuous improvement and adherence to the highest safety standards. Objective to minimize downtime and maximize productivity by delivering timely and effective machine repair that supports the operational excellence goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems quickly and accurately, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meter and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Support production in reducing, and eliminating equipment/tooling downtime and scrap utilizing good analytical methodologies. (Preventative/predictive maintenance and spare part inventory)
  • Perform repairs as required, and document all required aspects of repair.
  • Assist in fabricating and implementing projects as required.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ experience in machine repair required preferably in automotive. Electrical experience is required.
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  • Blueprint reading
