Maintenance Technician HN
A Maintenance Technician is essential to the success of our 24/7 float glass manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining the performance and dependability of complex, high-temperature equipment that is critical to the continuous float glass production process
This position’s primary schedule follows a 2‑2‑3, days - 12-hours ROTATING shift. This schedule provides every other weekend off, only working half the days of the year.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in heavy industrial settings and demonstrate strong expertise in industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems. A combination of two years of education and/or hands-on experience in at least one of these areas is required:
- Industrial Electricity
- Welding/Fabrication
- Machine shop experience
- Mechanical experience - related to Industrial environment.
- Industrial Electrical Experience preferred

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years’ maintenance experience
- PLC Troubleshooting Skills
- Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
- Pneumatics Experience
- Hydraulics Experience
- Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Pass a pre-employment physical ability test, background and drug screen
