About the role

The Manager, Accounting will own the end to end accounting and entity-level reporting for all Everway Group non-US entities, which includes entities in the UK, Australia, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This role provides critical management of and oversight over the integrity of the company’s consolidated US GAAP and foreign regulatory financial statements and ensures cross-border consistency in accounting practices.

The role is ideally suited for a proven people manager with strong technical expertise, knowledge of accounting and financial operations, and overall business experience in a complex and dynamic global environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own the monthly results for all non-US Everway Group entities
  • Manage monthly close and ensure the accuracy of financial results for all non-US Everway Group entities
  • Prepare entity-level financial reporting, providing financial insight and analysis to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and practices for the group, in line with industry best practice and US GAAP
  • Document accounting processes and desktop procedures for the accounting team
  • Manage, coach, and develop staff and senior accountants
  • Partner with Tax and Statutory Compliance to ensure transfer pricing invoicing and intercompany loan accounting processes and policies are being consistently followed
  • Support the group & local audit processes
  • Champion adoption of automation and establish best practices for leveraging native Sage Intacct functionality to reduce manual workloads and time to close
  • Assist in M&A activities including integration of processes and systems
  • Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting function and liaising with other functions in the finance department
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation & AI adoption

Essential Criteria

  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP (Required)
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) license in good standing
  • Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software (Required)
  • Proven people management experience (Required)
  • Demonstrated strong leadership in dynamic environments, consistently meeting tight deadlines while setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective cross-cultural communicator
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in a similar role in a SAAS company
  • Experience in a similar role in a PE backed environment
  • Experience with Floqast close management software
  • M&A and post-transaction integration experience
