Manager Advanced Data Analytics
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze large banking datasets from various internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify areas of potential revenue loss or improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to management and business units (e.g., market penetration, sales coverage, product preferences).
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and the Senior Management to gather and document business requirements, ensuring the developed BI solutions align with business objectives.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality checks and validation processes, and support data governance initiatives and standards.
- Flag anomalies that could impact insights on churn, deposits, or digital behavior and maintaining reliable foundations for analysis.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve existing reporting and data analysis processes and strategies with technology solutions and automation.
- Suggest ways to automate routine monitoring, prepare executive summaries, wireframe simple dashboards with key visuals/alerts, and communicate insights clearly to non-technical leaders for quick decision-making.
- Maintain detailed documentation for processes, reports, and data models, and provide support and training to end-users on BI platforms.
- Analyze external models, data, and regional/global trends, including competitive analysis, to validate and refine functional and business strategies, goals, and challenges.
- Evaluate market opportunities and prepare reports to support shareholder value creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design targeted solutions, develop detailed implementation plans, and establish robust governance mechanisms.
- Define comprehensive project requirements, including milestones, phases, and tasks.
- Monitor and track project progress against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets, proactively resolving issues and preparing progress reports with actionable recommendations.
Minimum Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Masters is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- 4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar analytical position, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, advanced functions) and other MS Office products.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data modeling (e.g., star schema).
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
