Manager Aeropolitical Affairs

We are looking for a UAE national with experience in International Affairs to join our Aeropolitical team!

Accountabilities

  • Prepare comprehensive analysis and briefs, for lobby visits and consultations, to support Etihad Airways (EAG) case for traffic rights.
  • Analyse draft Air Services Agreements and other aeropolitical documents, to protect and/or enhance the UAE’s and Etihad's interests.
  • Source, and distribute, critical information related to other countries’ regulatory policies, developments or events, which have a potential bearing on EY’s aeropolitical interests
  • Represent EAG at air services consultations, relevant regional and global aviation seminars and conferences, as and when required by Line Manager, to project and protect EAG’s interests.
  • Develop and maintain aeropolitical contacts in order to generate a favourable influence towards EAG’s traffic rights’ requirements.
  • Provide clarification on aeropolitical issues and queries to all internal EAG entities
  • Undertake special projects and aeropolitical exercises as may be assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in international relations and/or regulatory matters
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Arabic and English
