Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, Automation, located in TAGUIG, NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (MANILA).

The Manager, Automation within Global Services, Strategy & Operations leads a team responsible for delivering scalable automation, analytics, and reporting solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across enterprise service functions. This role combines people leadership with technical oversight to translate business priorities into data-driven insights and automation capabilities that enhance operational performance and service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape how analytics and automation are leveraged across Global Services—driving innovation, improving decision-making, and enabling consistent, high-quality execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team that delivers business intelligence, analytics, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making across Global Services.
• Develop and execute tactical and operational plans aligned to automation and analytics priorities, ensuring delivery against business objectives.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and automation workflows that provide insights into service performance and operational health.
Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on business value, feasibility, and enterprise alignment.
Establish standardized methods, governance, and controls to ensure consistent, scalable, and compliant automation solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities, and deliver integrated data and automation solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation standards are applied across all analytics and automation deliverables.
Monitor delivery performance, manage risks and issues, and continuously improve processes, tools, and team practices.
• Build and develop team capability through coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field required
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master’s in Analytics/Technology) preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required: • Proven experience in automation, analytics, business intelligence, or related technical disciplines
• Experience leading teams and managing delivery in a complex, matrixed environment
• Strong understanding of automation solutions, application architecture, and analytics/reporting practices
• Experience developing tactical and operational plans aligned to business objectives
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring quality, governance, and timely delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and standardization across functions

Preferred: • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of automation platforms, RPA tools, and workflow design
• Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, and data engineering concepts
• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise data standards
• Experience scaling analytics and automation capabilities across large organizations
• Exposure to advanced analytics or machine learning applications

Other:

• Language: English proficiency required
• Travel: Limited travel (approximately 0–10%), depending on business needs
• Certifications: Certifications in analytics, automation, or project management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) preferred
