Manager - Children, Youth and Family Department

  1. Lead and manage the Children, Youth & Family Department to achieve service outcomes, operational excellence, and strategic goals.
  2. Oversee financial assistance assessments and case management services, ensuring timely, fair, and compliant service delivery.
  3. Provide leadership for school social work programmes, supporting interventions for students and families facing social, behavioural, emotional, or family-related challenges.
  4. Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programmes for children, youths, and families.
  5. Drive service planning, innovation, and continuous improvement through needs assessments and data-informed decision-making.
  6. Supervise, coach, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  7. Build and maintain partnerships with schools, government agencies, community organisations, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  8. Ensure compliance with organisational policies, funding requirements, governance standards, and risk management practices.
  9. Manage departmental budgets, reporting, programme outcomes, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Registered Social Worker (where applicable) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in social service setting.
  • Strong leadership, people management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Passionate to impact the lives of underprivileged children and youth.
  • Comfortable with working with families of diverse backgrounds
  • Comfortable with working closely with volunteers to achieve programme objectives.
