Manager - Children, Youth and Family Department
- Lead and manage the Children, Youth & Family Department to achieve service outcomes, operational excellence, and strategic goals.
- Oversee financial assistance assessments and case management services, ensuring timely, fair, and compliant service delivery.
- Provide leadership for school social work programmes, supporting interventions for students and families facing social, behavioural, emotional, or family-related challenges.
- Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programmes for children, youths, and families.
- Drive service planning, innovation, and continuous improvement through needs assessments and data-informed decision-making.
- Supervise, coach, and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, government agencies, community organisations, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, funding requirements, governance standards, and risk management practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, reporting, programme outcomes, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
- Registered Social Worker (where applicable) preferred.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in social service setting.
- Strong leadership, people management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Passionate to impact the lives of underprivileged children and youth.
- Comfortable with working with families of diverse backgrounds
- Comfortable with working closely with volunteers to achieve programme objectives.
