Manager - Comms and Marketing (Public Agency)
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Comms and Marketing (Public Agency) to join our team.
This role is critical in supporting the preparation of content and communications materials, and event operations for change management and engagement initiatives that drive awareness and adoption amongst both internal and industry users.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the launch of the data analytics platforms are well-supported through refined change management plans and the excellent delivery of activities underpinned by clear communications and targeted engagement.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Salary: Up to $6,800/month
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain training, engagement, and resource materials to support users and stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, consistency, and relevance
- Manage and refresh resource platforms to improve accessibility and user experience
- Create and coordinate communications across platforms, including announcements, eDMs, and content calendars
- Manage online community channels and respond to enquiries and feedback in a timely manner
- Support the planning, execution, and post-event reporting of engagement sessions, roadshows, and training events
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possesses minimum a Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, content development and engagement, preferably in data, insights or technology-related environments
- Strong experience in writing content and creating materials such as user guides, announcements and eDMs
- Ability to quickly acquire comprehensive domain knowledge of tourism and hospitality datasets across existing and new systems
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with events and operations management
- Knowledge of change management processes
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva
- Basic skills in video editing is a bonus
