Manager - Finance & Accounts

The Finance and Accounts Manager is responsible for\noverseeing the day\-to\-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial\nreporting, and maintaining fiscal records. This role involves managing accounts\npayable and receivable, performing month\-end close activities, and ensuring\ncompliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Manage\n Financial Operations<\/b>: Oversee daily transactions including accounts\n payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
    <\/li>
  • Financial\n Reporting<\/b>: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring timely\n reconciliation and reporting.
    <\/li>
  • Budget\n Management<\/b>: Assist in developing and monitoring budgets for various\n departments and projects.
    <\/li>
  • Compliance<\/b>:\n Ensure all financial operations comply with GAAP and relevant laws and\n regulations.
    <\/li>
  • Cash\n Flow Management<\/b>: Monitor cash and investment balances and perform cash\n flow forecasting.
    <\/li>
  • Audit\n Preparation<\/b>: Assist with year\-end close activities and external audit\n requirements.
    <\/li>
  • Process\n Improvement<\/b>: Implement and train staff on financial software to\n streamline operations.
    <\/li>
  • Capitalisation\n of intangible assets<\/b>: Closely involved in capitalisation of intangible\n assets by coordinating with Information technology team.
    <\/li>
  • Maintenance\n of Fixed Asset Register <\/b>: Monitoring and maintenance of fixed asset\n register and handling the various audits with respect to Fixed Asset\n Register.
    <\/li>
  • Communication<\/b>:\n Serve as the primary contact for internal staff on financial matters.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Qualifications:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Education<\/b>:\n Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A Master's\n degree or CA Inter (Final discontinued).
      <\/li>
    • Experience<\/b>:\n 5\-10 years of experience in financial management and accounting.\n Supervisory experience is beneficial.
      <\/li>
    • Skills<\/b>:\n Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of\n accounting principles and financial management software (e.g., Sage\n Intacct).
