The role will assist Head of Fixed Income in (i) Credit research and assessment including macro, sector, corporate, credit research and assessment, (ii) other fixed income related tasks.

JOB SUMMARY This role assists Head of Fixed Income in completion of (i) Company/credit research/analysis (ii) sector/industry research/analysis, (iii) bond market research/analysis, (iv) fixed income market and other macro-economic related research and analysis where necessary, (v) Credit/Bond and related work and activities, including other Fixed income activities related tasks, and (vi) other investment related tasks to be assigned by Head of Fixed Income. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -Research and analysis/assessment +Perform company/credit/sector research and analysis/assessment, other research and analysis where necessary, and produce outcome on particular issuer, credit/corporate bond, ensuring alignment with regional standards and requirements, as well as local business processes and policies. +Ensure company/sector research and analysis/assessment are performed at high quality. +Consider ESG in all company/sectors, bond research and assessments. +Ensure company, sector/industry and other necessary research (C-bond market) and assessment are performed at high quality and meeting required timeframe, including timing and frequency. +Ensure necessary research and assessment are performed for both existing credits and new credits in compliance with the required process. +Provide other fixed income research, including bond research and market themes to assist the Head of Fixed Income in FI related investment activities. +Perform other research if necessary or required +Provide and/or present research and assessment outcomes to CIO, Head of Fixed Income, Committee, and other stakeholders. Related research, analysis/assessment and FI work +Collaborate and ensure the bond legal documents and other required documents for new investing credits are thoroughly checked, reviewed and confirmed by necessary parties (such as external lawyer, inhouse RCL, Ops, credit owner, etc) before obtaining sign off from the authorized person and sending them to the settlement stage. +Ensure research report, FI trade, and related requirements (may include credit, credit information, credit research) are set-up, captured and monitored in Aladdin sufficiently and promptly. +Ensure all existing research, analysis, and assessments for credits are properly performed, monitored on a regular basis, following the process or as needed, based on active evaluations by the credit owner or by Head of Fixed Income. +Set-up additionally necessary process for research, analysis of company/credit, sector monitoring if necessary. Ensure that the research, assessment, execution and monitoring align with legal bond documents, EIVN process and policies. +Complete other assigned tasks in relation to credit investments. -Other assigned tasks to meet FI KPI/requirements +Complete other assigned tasks by Head of Fixed Income/CIO/Company to meet FI KPI/requirements +Other duties assigned for fixed income activities. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; advanced degree preferred. Additionally relevant degrees or certificates such as CFA designation are preferred. SSC license is required. -Minimum of 7 years or more of financial industry, particularly in relating to sector/industry/corporate research and analysis experience. Position requires fundamental research/analysis and sound understanding industry/sector/ and corporate, etc. -Capability to continuously enhance and deliver high quality research and assessment outcomes -Ensuring research, assessment performing and credit deal management adhere to ethical standards and company policies. -Ensuring other related FI work are performed and maintained properly -Advanced working tools for doing research and assessment. -Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to complete issues and produce good outcome within certain timeframe. A high level of professionalism is mandatory. -Strong team player that is flexible, adaptable and hardworking who believes in an integrated team driven investment process. -Diligently working and responsibly working
