About the Role

We are looking for an experienced forensic technology and/or eDiscovery professional to join our National Forensic Services team working with clients to provide forensic technology and/or eDiscovery services in relation to:

  • Digital forensic expert engagements
  • Investigations digital forensics and hosting support
  • Cyber incident response forensics
  • Litigation support

You will be an integral part of the growth of our forensic practice, supporting clients in a range of industries and sectors.

Based in our Sydney office, this role will involve:

  • Leading and delivering digital forensic services to clients or their legal representatives
  • Project managing digital forensic and eDiscovery engagements including supervision of junior staff members to build confidence in their digital forensic and eDiscovery skills.
  • Managing concurrent digital forensic and eDiscovery engagements simultaneously.
  • Identifying, collecting and processing and analysing various sources of digital evidence including:
    • Cloud
    • Laptop / Desktop Workstations
    • Mobile Telephones and Tablets
    • File servers
    • Storage Devices
  • Preparing high quality factually based digital forensic expert reports.
  • Working as a collaborative national forensic team, drawing on the unique skillsets of other team members as required. This may include data analytics, risk and compliance and forensic accounting and investigations.
  • Contributing to the development of proposals in response to request for services.

About You

Our successful candidate has demonstrated experience in forensic technology and/or eDiscovery services.

Combined with:

  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and building clients trust when managing sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, particularly eDiscovery and digital forensic tools such as:
    • RelativityOne
    • Nuix eDiscovery Workstation
    • Nuix Discover
    • Magnet Axiom
    • Cellebrite UFED
    • X-Ways Forensics
    • Sumuri forensics tools
    • Forensic Boot CDs
  • Desire, and ability to, develop skills in emerging forensic tools.
  • Scripting and data analytic experience a bonus.
  • Digital Forensics certifications are desirable.
