Your New Role

Responsible for the management of Global Advertising campaign budgets from creation, to forecast and monthly close for the lifespan of these films. Will be a key contact within the marketing finance group for all things marketing budgets.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Develop Marketing budgets for Home Office which includes both Domestic and International as well as European regional plans overseen by the VP Marketing Finance.
  • Work directly with various leaders within the Marketing team(s) to analyze spending patterns to ensure leaders stay within the adpub ultimates. Troubleshoot with key members as campaign beats change to ensure we are managing spend holistically.
  • Responsible for International & Domestic Forecast creation in Flash planning system, creating flow schedules and making recommendations for actual flow(s) which are reviewed by VP of Marketing Finance. Laisse with Media Team to solicit input for the media forecast piece.
  • Maintain and analyze budgets / ultimates in all appropriate systems, including SAP and Flash across both Domestic & International.
  • Perform monthly advertising accrual for Home Office based costs on current & future titles - uses SAP as basis for this exercise - includes Domestic, International Home Office and European Regional - reviewed by VP Marketing Finance.
  • Investigate and correct coding errors in budgets and reviews / liaison with GBS to make corrections to ensure costs are assigned to the correct titles for expense and participation purposes.
  • Create and maintain detailed creative budget reports which are used for reviewing with the various creative executives and the Head Creative on a weekly basis.
  • Performs special projects as needed or assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-10 years business experience required, preferably in the entertainment industry
  • Financial Accounting experience required
  • Marketing related experience preferred
  • SAP experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field required
  • MBA Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven skills in SAP, both actuals and planning tools
  • Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage
  • Knowledge of report, letter, document formatting
  • Well organized, self-motivated with proven people skills at all levels of an organization
  • General office activities: walking, sitting, standing, typing, etc.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of WB Management, staff, vendors, and other outside business contacts
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • Must have the ability to organize and schedule work efficiently with little supervision
  • Must have the ability to wok well under time constraints
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $110,040.00 - $204,360.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
