As the Manager (Government Partnerships) for Gujarat state,\nyou will provide strategic leadership and oversee the implementation of\nvocational education initiatives. This role involves high\-level government\nliaison, stakeholder engagement, program monitoring, resource management, and\nteam leadership to drive impactful vocational education programs across two\nstates.<\/span>

While leading the State you will be responsible for\nstrategizing and managing the overall implementation of vocational education in\nGujarat as part of the Samagra Shiksha or any other similar programs. You will\nlead the end to end management of the Vocational education program in the\nstate, coordinate with government officials, oversee program execution, develop\npartnerships, manage teams, and drive policy advocacy to ensure the successful\nimplementation and scaling of vocational education initiatives.<\/span>

        Program Leadership & Strategy<\/span><\/span><\/b>

        • Drive\n different projects and initiatives of Lend A Hand India in Gujarat and\n Maharashtra including on ground implementation of the National Education\n Policy 2020 and National Curriculum Framework 2023 for Vocational\n Education<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Develop\n and execute a strategic roadmap for implementing vocational education\n under the Samagra Shiksha Program in the state.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Build\n alignment with national and state education policies, collaborating with\n relevant stakeholders for effective execution.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Build\n partnerships and collaborations with different stakeholder groups\n including non\-profits, government bodies and philanthropic and CSR\n organisations for supporting projects<\/span>

          • Serve\n as the primary point of contact for state\-level education departments,\n ensuring smooth implementation of vocational education initiatives.<\/span>

          • Represent\n LAHI in government meetings, forums, and consultations to advocate for\n skill education reforms.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Work\n closely monitor vocational education activities of State PMU unit<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Periodic\n meetings and reporting to Sr Govt. officials and key stakeholders<\/span>

            Stakeholder Management & Industry Engagement<\/span><\/span><\/b>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p>

            • Develop\n and strengthen partnerships with NSDC, Sector Skill Councils, Vocational\n Training Providers (VTPs), State Institutions like SCERT and State\n Education Board<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and other key\n organizations like PSSCIVE, NCVET , etc. .<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Facilitate\n active participation of industry partners to enhance skill training and\n employment linkages for students.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Organize\n and lead multi\-stakeholder meetings, conferences, and training sessions.<\/span>

              Program Implementation & Monitoring<\/span><\/span><\/b>

              • Manage\n PMU Team, ensuring high\-quality delivery of skill\-based education.<\/span>

                • Manage\n state\-level program budgets and resource allocation to ensure efficient\n implementation.<\/span>

                • Work\n with internal teams to streamline processes and documentation, including\n drafting official proposals, presentations, and government submissions.<\/span>

                  • Lead\n and mentor State teams (Project Management Units and project\n implementation team on ground project coordinators, instructors, and field\n staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.<\/span>

                    Master\u2019s degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Management, Education, or\na related field.<\/span><\/span>
                    <\/span><\/p>

                    8\u201310 years of experience in:<\/span><\/span>
