We are seeking a dynamic and impact\-driven Manager \u2013 Health & Nutrition to lead business development and the delivery of high\-impact consulting assignments across Africa. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong focus on health systems strengthening, nutrition, and digital health transformation, combined with excellent advisory and project leadership skills and a passion for driving sustainable public impact through innovation.<\/span>

You will play a critical role in positioning MSC as a trusted partner to governments, donors, and development organizations by leading business development efforts, strengthening strategic partnerships, and executing complex projects that advance health and nutrition systems across the continent.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities;<\/b>

Business Development<\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Lead and support business development across Africa, including pipeline generation, opportunity tracking, and strategic partnerships.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Engage with donors, governments, and implementing partners to identify new opportunities and position MSC as a trusted advisory partner.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lead the preparation of high\-quality concept notes, technical proposals, financial proposals, and client presentations aligned to regional and donor priorities.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Contribute to pitch readiness, capture planning, and proposal review processes.
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Project Management & Delivery
    <\/span><\/span><\/h3>
    • Lead the delivery of consulting and advisory assignments across Africa, ensuring technical rigor, on\-time delivery, and measurable impact.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Oversee research, design, and implementation of health and nutrition programs, including digital transformation initiatives.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government counterparts, donors, and consortium partners.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks to track, assess, and communicate project outcomes.
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Ensure compliance with MSC\u2019s quality standards, project governance, and performance monitoring frameworks.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Leadership & Knowledge Generation
      <\/span><\/span><\/h3>
      • Develop regional insights, research papers, policy briefs, and knowledge products on digital health, health and nutrition systems strengthening, and innovation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Represent MSC at conferences, workshops, and sectoral forums to build visibility and influence policy dialogue.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Contribute to internal knowledge systems and cross\-capability collaboration within MSC\u2019s global network.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Contribute to MSC\u2019s internal systems including business development tracking, pipeline reporting, and resource planning.
        <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Support operational excellence through client feedback loops, internal learning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

      • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a strong, collaborative practice culture.

        Requirements<\/h3>

        Qualifications & Experience
        <\/span><\/h3>
        • 8\u201310 years of experience in consulting, advisory services, or program management within public health, nutrition, or development sectors in Africa.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Demonstrated experience in originating and leading business development opportunities.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Master\u2019s degree in Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Health Economics, Healthcare Management, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions.<\/span>

          • Proven stakeholder engagement skills across governments, donors, civil society, and private\-sector partners.<\/span>
