Manager, HR Operations

We are looking for a people-first leader to join our Global HR Operations team as Manager, HR Operations – APAC.
In this role, you will lead our APAC Tier 2 HR Operations team, supporting more than 2,000 employees across seven countries and partnering closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, IT, Finance, and other cross-functional teams. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and scalable HR services while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the region.
This is a high-impact leadership role that balances operational execution with strategic transformation. You will lead complex employee lifecycle operations, strengthen regional governance, optimize processes, and help shape the future of HR service delivery through automation, AI, and standardized global practices.

Responsibilities include:
Delivery
- Lead a Tier 2 team focused on ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, excellent customer service and data reliability
- Own, enhance, and manage a best-in-class team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Direct, plan, and manage the team in accordance with HR Operations strategic direction
- Ensure that the team deliver globally aligned HR services, procedures and processes that follow our SLA and considered value added, measurable, directly tied to business objectives and aimed at providing a great employee experience.
- Drive high levels of client service and engagement with our employees and managers who rely on timely and accurate information, guidance, and issue resolution
Scale
- Ensure our operational processes balance flexibility and scalability, ensuring diverse users have the data, tools, and processes
- Find practical opportunities to enhance the employee experience and optimize the ability to improve processes and make more informed decisions using all available tools and systems, with a data-driven approach.
- Improve the assessment, delivery, and support of HR policies and processes that support current and future business needs. Investigate, fix, and resolve complex issues that arise regarding policies, processes, and practices
Partnerships & Communications
- Partner with HR stakeholders and other partner teams (e.g., payroll, IT, Legal) on the creation and implementation of high quality, actionable processes and ensure operational readiness based on best practices
- Partner with HR Ops Global Central Services team to ensure smooth transition and execution of Tier 1 tasks for APAC.
- Ensures there is a positive internal and external working relationship within the team and with our employees and partners by frequently communicating and soliciting feedback with all involved parties and by measuring customer satisfaction
Develop
- Build and develop a high-performing team, its culture, its ways of working and operations while mentoring and coaching your team members to their highest potential
Basic qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in HR Operations or a similar function with background in process improvement and agile project management
- 3+ years of management and leadership roles
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a shared services environment with effective strategies to reinforce a shared services engagement model
- Experience managing an organization supporting thousands of employees
- Experience supporting employees within APAC
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Leadership presence with strong collaboration skills; able to articulate a value proposition and secure buy-in and support from key stakeholders
- A strong verbal and written communicator with exceptional emotional intelligence
- Strong in analytics, critical thinking, and reasoned judgment
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment with limited data
- Good knowledge of employment laws, regulations, market practices and general business environment
- Mindset of continuous improvement, LEAN experience is an asset.

- Understanding of HRIS systems design, HR reporting, workflow, and auditing requirements (experience with Smart Recruiters, Workday & Service Now strongly preferred)

- Completely at ease in an ever changing fast paced ambiguous environment
