Hiring Range $62,691.20 to $83,574.40

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Manager of Food Services is responsible for leadership, oversight, and coordination of nutrition and food service operations across multiple programs, including residential and outpatient settings. This role is responsible for menu planning, nutritional oversight, staff supervision, and ensuring consistent, high-quality food service delivery across all sites. This position is responsible for the day-to-day performance of Cooks, including the guidance and coordination of their direct reports toward established goals and objectives. The Manager of Food Services ensures all food services are in compliance with Federal, State, local and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines, and applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and licensing requirements as appropriate for programs

Qualifications:

1. Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field OR equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

2. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in providing food services for institutional, healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site food service operations.

3. Two (2) years of supervisory experience, which may be concurrent with the five (5) years of experience in providing food services for institutional, healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site food service operations.

4. Alaska Food Worker Card or current Food Service Worker’s permit as issued by appropriate authority OR obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.

5. Food Protection Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent) OR obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.

6. First Aid/CPR certification OR obtain within six (6) months of hire.
