Manager of Social Media and Social Partnership Strategy

Must be located in Broward County, FL or Miami-Dade County, FL

What you will be doing:

As a Manager of Social Media and Social Partnership Strategy at Bluebird Kids Health, you’ll bring our brand to life through video and social content that connects with the families we serve. This is a predominantly remote role based in Broward or Miami-Dade Counties (with a strong preference towards Broward), though roughly 20% of your time spent on-site in our local Broward offices and another 20% traveling to our offices in other cities. You’ll work hands-on with our providers and staff to turn everyday moments into engaging social media videos—coaching them on camera, capturing the footage, and shaping it into content that drives patient growth.

As we build out our social presence, you’ll be helping to lead the charge. You’ll bring a sensibility for what works across a variety of social media channels, and flare for hooks that draw in audiences.

You’ll also collaborate with external influencers, communities, and groups to find ways to bring our brand to new audiences, with budget responsibility.

In our fast-paced startup environment, you’ll own our social presence end to end, from filming and editing to scheduling content to analyzing performance and community management, while helping our team build comfort and confidence on camera.

Key activities you’ll perform:

  • Train and coach our providers and staff on creating effective social media videos, helping them feel comfortable and energized on camera
  • Record, recut, and post videos across our social channels on a consistent cadence
  • Coordinate the production of posts, including getting approvals from on-camera talent, working with compliance, and a variety of internal reviews as required
  • Track and analyze video and content performance, and use those insights to refine our approach
  • Trend tracking
  • Scheduled Posting
  • Annotate, organize, and maintain a library of raw footage so we can move quickly and reuse assets
  • Recruit and manage relationships with paid and unpaid influencers, as well as customers who might be willing to provide testimonials
  • Cultivate engagement within relevant online groups and communities
  • Manage and respond to both social posts and Google reviews (and other online ratings) protecting and elevating our reputation
  • Support overall brand consistency across all social touchpoints
  • Stay on top of platform trends and emerging formats to keep our content fresh

What success looks like:

  • Help drive patient acquisition through compelling, consistent social media content
  • Build a roster of providers and staff who are confident and willing to create video content
  • Serve as a go-to source for social and video performance metrics
  • Maintain a well-organized, easily accessible footage library that lets the team move fast
  • Grow our influencer and community relationships into a meaningful acquisition channel
  • Be the primary internal owner of reviews and customer testimonials
  • Keep our online reputation strong through proactive review and community management
  • Show adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-growing startup environment

What you will bring:

  • A minimum of 5 years of total professional working experience in a marketing or social media role, preferably with some experience in healthcare or a startup environment
  • Based in Broward County, with reliable transportation for local travel and a willingness to travel to other cities (roughly 20% local on-site, 20% out-of-town)
  • Willing to work some nights and weekends, staffing and taking video at events
  • High, infectious energy and the ability to bring that energy out in others on camera
  • Hands-on experience recording, editing, and posting short-form video for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and video editing apps like CapCut
  • Strong skills in social media analytics and using data to improve content performance
  • Experience managing influencer relationships and online communities or groups
  • Familiarity with managing online reviews and reputation (Google reviews and similar)
  • Comfort coaching and training others—patient, encouraging, and able to make people feel at ease on camera
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Organized and systematic, especially in maintaining content and footage libraries
